Quick example and testing of how things will work. I know it's cheesy, but go with it.
Scarlett- your character is in an alley walking home, and a you see a mugger 15m away, and he shouts, "Give me your purse or you get a lead salad!" and you notice he's going for a pistol in his pants.
Roll initiative. (Mugger gets 12 total)

I got a 10 for ini.
Btw, you might want to post the Minimum Defense or whatever, and the resistances with the initiative. If I beat him, I would need to know that stuff beforehand, right?

Ah, good point. ok so...
Min defense: 15 No DR.
He draws his pistol and cocks it, and waits for you to make your move. (Readied action) (13 to hit, 13 dmg, Torso; 13 dmg Total. Shock DC: 11)

I draw one of my Beretta's and get ready to pop a cap in his ass.
He missed my defense, if he fires. *Note
2nd action- Aimed shot to Mugger 1... haha
18 to hit, rolled 10 damage (So weak...), to the Right Arm, 5 damage Total. Shock is 7.
Since that was some weak shit, I use follow-up shot and plug him again. (15 to hit, rolled 9 damage, to the Head, 22 damage Total. Shock is 16.
3rd action, even if he's down, I want to make sure he stays down. Same thing:
16 to hit, rolled 14 damage, Rt Leg, 7 damage Total. Shock is 8.
(Follow up shot?)- 15 to hit, 13 damage, Lft Arm, 6 damage Total. Shock is 8.
4th action I will save for a dodge (22 Total) if he's still standing.
If he's in shock or still alive, I put another in him.
17 to hit, 16 damage, Torso, 16 damage Total. Shock is 13. FUS- 14 to hit, 11 damage, Torso, 11 damage total. Shock is 10.
Let me know if I did anything wrong for my to-hit. I did +1 from Range, -1 Standing, +0 Default Style, +0 Unsupported, +0 Not Moving. Uhh. do ties go to the defender?

Round 2 Hmm. I don't think I actually ever addressed this in the game. Ties go to the defender in combat. If there's no true opponent of the roll (like beating a DC on a check), then a tie goes to the roll. Your math was correct for the attack bonuses.
A side note- if you're the last one to act in the round, don't bother saving an action for a defense. If you want to, you can say you'll spend an action to dodge from the next round, and roll. I counted the attack with your 4th action since you didn't know. ---
You hit with every other shot, starting with the first, and dealt a total of 28pts of damage (5+7+16). (Make sure to mark off 6 rounds from your magazine on whatever ammo sheet or notes you're using. I'll keep track too.) The mugger is at zero, but he passed shock on all of them, and is still standing.
He can only take half his normal actions this round, and takes a -3 penalty to all rolls.
He uses his first action to fire an aimed shot with his pistol- 18 to hit- misses your minimum. No dodge needed.

So he's badly wounded but still standing and not in shock, and I didn't get shot. bitchin'. One other thing. I don't think it's necessary to list the rolled damage and then total. With the location, you kinda know...
Anyways- Here comes the pain:
18 to hit, 16 damage, Rt Arm, 8 total. Shock 9 FUS- 24 to hit, 12 damage, Torso, 12 total. Shock 11
23 hit, 17 damage, Rt Leg, 8 total. Shock 9 FUS- 24 hit, 12 damage, Torso, 12 total. Shock 11
21 hit, 19 damage, Lft Arm, 9 total Shock 9 FUS- 22 hit, 13 damage, Rt Arm, 6 total. Shock 8
With my last action, if he's not dead- I fucking run away, reloading while doing so.

Round 3
Good thoughts on the damage, I changed it in the Gameplay section.
The second shot of the round (where he's at -20hp) is what kills him. He passed the shock on the first shot, enabling your use of the follow-up (2 rounds spent).
-End of Encounter-
How do you think it went? okay? any thoughts?

Besides what I already mentioned, I can't think of anything else. We'll probably need a method of mapping that's fairly easy too... plus I like to see furnishings and props to use to my advantage.
Can I loot him and get xp? ;D

I'm thinking of a cross between 3D images, and a piece of graph paper. There will probably be a fair number of small engagements that won't need a map (ie, whack a guy walking to his car- total sneak attack and it's done in 5 seconds.) - and no, no loot or xp. Even if this wasn't just a test run, killing one guy gets you no experience, and he didn't have much besides a gun.
