In order to reduce living costs, Levi would probably get rid of his apartment. Holly has already lost her dorm, since her dad isn't paying for college this next semester. The two of you might split a large storage unit instead, for game purposes. It'll just be part of your expenses.
All of your weapons, gear, and any other sundries you are bringing are packed into shipping crates designed for smuggling, then stuffed into containers. You can only carry any weapons on your person that a metal detector can't pick up if you want to enjoy the ride on the ship (No armor/gear either- you have to appear to be civilian crew-members).
Or, you can choose to get stuffed into a crate.
After several hours loading up the ship with the massive containers, it's ready to move.
The first day is uneventful, and a cool salty breeze takes away your cares and worries of the world. The crew are Anarchist-supporters, and as you talk to them, you realize this isn't a small movement. These guys have their fingertips in almost every level of infrastructure and many businesses. It seems the people want change from the corruption and authority that has been imposed on them, and they've been hassled and lied to enough that they're ready to fight and oppose them in any way they can.
The crew will be re-painting the numbers on the ship to match one that is going to Metropolis when night falls on day 2. However, there's a hiccup in the plan. You awaken in the early morning on day 2 to the sounds of a foghorn and shouting. A sailor bursts into your room, and shouts, "We got company! Coast Guard!" and then rushes off.
What do you do?

Some changes to the way I do my maps: Blue ink line of dots: Fence or railing of some kind. Black ink line of dots: Fence or railing that extends to a ceiling. Windows now have a pencil line on one of their sides to help separate them easier. (look at the bottom left part of the map. The bridge on your freighter has glass windows on the second deck all over.) Bottom ship is yours, Top ship is coast guard. Just want to give you guys an idea of where you're at. You two are currently below deck. -- Some campaign setting notes: Due to revisions of the Private Security Act, registered freight vessels can have a locked armory for personal weapons that do not adhere to the standard civilian provisions of 10rd magazines, automatic weapons, and armor-piercing ammunition. However, the crew is only allowed to be armed in cases of potential piracy or suspected hostile action. The Coast Guard/Navy is also allowed to board and search any ship and crew it believes to be suspicious in nature; but it cannot delay that ship for more than 1 hour without evidence. If any evidence of illegal activity is found, the crew can potentially be arrested and the ship impounded. You've heard from other sailors on board that sometimes the Coast Guard uses that last clause to board ships for training purposes, and also to flush out smugglers. To exemplify this: Coast Guard says their going to board your ship, and if any hostile action is taken against them, they have the right to return fire. The ship doesn't know if the CG has intel on them or not, or if it's just training or routine searches. Attachments:

I will stash Levi's Polycarbonate Knife, and my own, along with my Plastic pistol and ammo in a mattress that I cut a slit in (So they have to Search the mattress, not just the room).
Hide check: 14

Levi is going to peak out of our bunk room and if I see a Sailor (who isn't a CG) in the corridor I am going to walk up and whisper:
(Assuming they know who we are and all...)
"Pssssst! Hey look, do you think we are all in any danger? I'm guessing you guys have been through this before and know how to cover any loose ends we might have on this ship... So if you think we're cool, then I'll just go with it."

They know who you guys are. The sailor says, "Get to the bridge after making sure you're good. Captain wants a few words with everyone.
So far, they've just said to stop our engines and standby. If you ask me, something is a little fishy, but yeah, we've done this before. Normally they don't wait this long, they get ramps and board us do a brief search and go. 20-30min tops.
But... they're just sitting away from us, and it's been 5 minutes already."

After Holly finishes up the two of us head up to the bridge with the rest of the crew, and I stay in an arm's reach distance from Holly the whole time.

The captain is looking out over the waters at the Coast Guard's patrol boat. It's Deck gun is rotated to fire at you guys. Only a few crewers are on deck. Two on top appear to be officers, both with binoculars of some kind, scanning the ship. They appear to only have light armor and sidearms. There is no Helicopter or AV on the helipad, but you see a sailor turn on the landing lights about the time you get to the bridge. Captain Reynolds (your boat's captain): "Good to see you, hope you enjoyed your trip this far. Normally I wouldn't be too alarmed in this situation. We have a few problems though. 1. You two. I don't know if you're clean criminally or they've got evidence on you. I suggest you keep your heads down and do as you're told unless you've got a rap sheet. 2. They're giving me the fucking creeps. They're not doing anything, and that's weird. They're just watching us. And now they've turned on the helipad lights. Something's up. I've told the crew to stand down, and the first mate is guarding the Armory as we speak. As far as I can tell, they don't have any UAV's in the air, and there's no Eye satellites over the oceans this far out. We should be good for that part. 3. Our shipping logs and numbers haven't been changed yet. We were supposed to get to that relatively soon, but they showed up first. We're going to appear off course to them if they run our numbers. This might be why something's up. 4. We left port in a hurry. My ship doesn't often get stopped, only happened twice in 8 years. I'm not sure we packed your gear back far enough if they do a thorough search. On the plus side, it would only take a minute or two to pull your gear out. It's container A12 if you need it for any reason, before I forget to tell you." -- At this point in time, he stops talking as you hear the quieted engines of an AV approach the patrol boat. It looks like a modified AV-T (transport), with just the dual auto-cannon turret on the underside. The bay doors slide open moments before it touches ground, and a person carrying a large sniper rifle with an even larger scope exits the AV and runs to the bridge. This guy, and the others in the AV are not Coast Guard. It looks like they're wearing more armor, advanced gear, and have some strange weapon you haven't seen before. (the captain passed off a pair of binoculars) The weapon appears to be similar in design to the Telstaer Holly has, but not quite the same. There's 6 in the chopper, they don't appear to be getting out, and the AV's engines are still on. The captain stops breathing for a moment upon seeing them. Captain Reynolds: "Shit. Navy SEALS. Shit." Attachments:

Levi tells me of his spotty past with the DEA, and we finally come to a plan. I'm going to just be one of the sailors; Levi's going to our container. He'll meet me back at the bunks if he gets into trouble. We'll have a special knock if I enter the bunks.
I'm going to go to the armory and see what they have before going back to the bridge.

Levi is going to go back to the cargo bay, find our container and pull out his Omicron and load it with one mag, grab two more mags for the road and stash 'em, Then he is going to pull out his ghullie suit, and put it on. He'll close the container back up the way it was before he got to it.
Then he is going to find a a container that has enough room for him to fit inside, hide in there and close it up again. Hide: 15 Disguise (With Ghullie suit): 15
Now he is going to ready an action: As soon as he hears someone try and open the container, or give any kind of indication that someone outside knows that I am in there, I am going to TP out of there and back to our bunk.

Ok. Levi can tune all of this out. Holly comes back up to the bridge then?
About 2 minutes after the AV lands, the sniper is fully set up on the bridge with the Coast Guard's officer standing next to him with binoculars. Holly recognizes the rifle as the M107 Barrett .50 cal rifle, and after some observation, realizes the sight on the rifle was something she'd seen in an online article a few months back. It's the next generation of optics: X-ray. The only model currently in service by the military is the XROS-M307, and they're very rare. The sniper is making no attempt at hiding, but is prone on the top deck next to a large piece of equipment. The XROS glows faintly green as the sniper scans the deck.
The officer speaks into a radio on his shoulder, and you hear over a loudspeaker, "Under the authority of the PATRIOT 4 Act, we have the right to board and search your vessel and crew. Stand down and cooperate or you will be considered hostile."
The AV then immediately takes off, it's unnervingly quiet jets lifting it swiftly upwards, and over towards your ship.
(your turn if you want to do anything)

I'm good. I'll just stay where I am, looking to see where the Seals go.

Four SEAL's suddenly appear outside of the bridge windows, guns leveled at the people as you hear over a loudspeaker: "PUT YOUR HANDS ON YOUR HEAD AND DROP TO THE GROUND!" The rest of the crew complies, along with the captain. Although two of the crew got very scared very fast. One looks like he's sweating bullets, the other one just looks nervous. Attachments:

I will do as ordered. I'll whisper to the nervous guys "Hey, keep cool, got it?"
