2 weeks after the first adventure-
Mickey Fellows, from the Army Surplus Emporium gives Levi a call, informing him his Mini-Uzi that he ordered is now available to pick up. A few seconds after the call ends, Holly gets a call, notifying her the customized Victor she ordered is now available to pick up. --- Upon arrival, Mickey greets you two with a hearty handshake, asking how Levi's Glock is working out for him, and asking Holly if the Berettas are still doing the job well. After giving you each your items that you ordered, Mickey adds-
"Jack ordered a few parts or weapon or something from Custom Arms Ltd. It's for a .30-06 Lightning Bolt. They didn't ship the barrel though, and they left a note... here it is."
Note: Custom Arms Ltd would like to note that the barrel is at Willcall at our warehouse. If Halcyon can help us out, we would be glad to grant you a superior-quality weapon for free (including being assembled and tested).
"I talked to Jack already, he said to send you two out to go straight there and talk with them. He wants you to see what they want, then call him. Jack wants to get on good terms with Custom Arms, so see what you can do."

"Ahh. Seems I always have to drive you everywhere. At least my copies are getting better at doing stuff." I create one and have it drive while I chill in the backseat and chat with Levi...
And somehow translate this into non-game-physics speak on the drive over: I ran some statistics for the 9mm FMJ Ball vs. my 9mm Hi-Power, vs. my .22 Victor. I found out that if using aimed shots, with my 9mm and using FMJ Ball, I end up killing most targets faster due to Follow-up shot.
Due to the lower damage (by rougly 5pts before I changed things), I could almost always use follow-up shot, and down a target into further negative hit points since they saved. The only way the higher damage helped was in one of the following two conditions- -I hit a limb first, and then torso. -Just keep hitting limbs (it only does an extra point or two though). To fix this, I made the Hi-Power more useful for stopping/stunning a target at close range, single hit, lotsa damage.
Not only that, but averaged damage on the Hi-Power was equal to my Victor. I noticed though, that the shitty shock value on the Victor worked to my advantage. I further revised it and exploited that factor. So now I have the better damage, plus the ability to shoot them twice, and potentially kill with a single action with the .22
Here's the stats on the revised Hi-Power, and 22LR Ammo I'm using, btw Brian. Let me know if prices or something change. 9mm Hi-Power (-1 hit, -8m, +9dmg, +1SV, -1SV UnA) .22 JSP, Gas-checked (+1 to hit, +1m. -1dmg Armd, +3dmg UnA. -1SV, +1PV) (btw, what's the S? I thought JHP was jacketed hollow point.)

Omg, you have no life. lol No, no price change. It's still balanced, I'm assuming. You know you scare me sometimes, right? I will be getting my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow. I'll probably be stuck at home most of the weekend, so we should be able to game quite abit assuming Jonathan is free. I know Scarlett probably will be, because she has no life. -You enter the back door to the factory, and are greeted by the President of this small, but well-known company- Russell Marks. (feel free to interject with questions or comments) Marks: "Thank you for coming, I trust your trip wasn't too bad through traffic?" He takes you to a small office inside. "Let's get to business. I'm having some problems, of a political kind. A political action commitee known as MAGNA (Mothers against Guns, Narcotics, and Alcohol) has been trying to shut me down. They used to be just MADD until they extended their platform a couple years back. So normally, we pay certain politicians to look the other way for our business practices. However, they gave a certain liberal politician in the House more money than us. He's Congressman McClellan, and he's out for blood." "McClellan is rumored to have some ties with the Irish mob here, according to a friend of mine. They're still fairly weak after their dismemberment by that vigilante killer several years ago. Anyways, there's a nightclub called the Manor House he's been seen at a few times, seems to know the owner- who is the one who has connections to the Irish. If you hit up the owner for info, make sure he doesn't talk to any of his family." "Here's the deal- Find out when McClellan goes there next. I want one of these bullets forcefully inserted into him- I want him dead with this rifle, in the vicinity of the club. Right outside, or inside of it. I want MAGNA and the nation to know what a hypocritical sleezeball he is. In return, I'll make sure Halcyon is well-taken care of. Starting with what I would consider my finest rifle. I've fine-tuned it by hand. Jack's money that he put for a deposit will be refunded shortly." You gain the following (handing it to Levi-since Jonathan was wanting to do some sniping stuff.) - EFR1 "Lightning Bolt", SUP4 (+2 hit, damage, +1SV, +4m) Stats are in the Revolution game weapons file for the basic rifle (no ammo mod) -Loaded 5rd magazine of .30-06; Golden-JHP, +P, Gas-checked (+1 hit, +1m, +2dmg, -1PV. +2 dmg UnA, -2dmg Armd) -3x 5rd magazines (empty) -Simple Scope for the EFR (You can buy your own, however. Just give me a heads up). +2 hit aimed shots, +1 to negate called shots. See Scopes in the Firearms document for details. -Silencer for it (attachable) -Battery, along with wall charger for it. -Sleek metal case with foam padding (For when it's disassembled) "You'll need to "zero" your weapon to the scope you use. There's a range a ways out of town, about an hour and a half in good traffic" (You know the place). "It's recommended that you know your distances first. When you go there, I'll have called them. Just show your ID, and it will be free anytime you go, no questions asked either. They'll provide practice ammo for this time too."

Might be helpful if I post these too. The Red dots/lines are my recommended locations to snipe from; but first things first- interrogation.

"sweet!" Takes the Rifle and components shaking with excitement.
"Alright, so it looks like we are going to have to do some nightclub recon first?"
"Actually it would be a big help if we visited all of those recommended posts as well."

"I'll wait in the car while you actually hop up there, but I'll drive you around. After you've scoped out the places, we'll go hit up the owner guy."
