Levi: As you enter the LA basin, you get nervous and wonder if this is a good idea. Your buddies in Vegas said they want you back in LA. It’s been an insane several months in Vegas, but you’ve been pretty thrashed. It kinda was like “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”, actually, now that you think about it. You aren’t going to be in the North Hollywood area this time, at least. It’s nighttime when you ride through the city, and morning when you step into your new “office”. It’s weird, when they said office, they meant an actual office. It looks like they would have corporate boardroom meetings, power lunches, and all sorts of crap like that. This syndicate is very different from the Italian, or Irish, and other ethnic-based mafias. It’s a business association of anyone looking to be an organized criminal. Which is why you got in with them, as a supplier before. This opportunity is a little different- this office doesn’t need your chemistry skills, necessarily. Holly: The city of Los Angeles is shrouded in a brown haze of fog in this early morning. Despite its smell, the city shines in your eyes as your home. Despite the small range of your business’ operations, you feel a sort of pride, as if you own this majestic landscape. You deeply inhale another breath of the fresh yet toxic air, and hop out of the car. This job has been working out great with your education. Not only are you making more money that most of the chumps there, but your job doesn’t conflict with your schedule. If it did, you can be in two, even three places at once anyways. Today, (Thursday) as you walk in to “the office”, you see a new face. He’s talking with your boss, Jack Steele. As you near the two, Jack calls over to you. “Miss Steiner! This is Levi Ayalon, our new associate from Vegas. He just transferred in today, and I want you to show him around town, and get him set up. You two will probably be working together a lot, so play nice missy.” By “set up”, he means to get him some weapons and gear from the Army Surplus Emporium. It’s a military surplus store that the syndicate fronts for various weapons, military-grade gear, and money laundering like all the other fronts.

Levi, you will be staying at the office for now, until you get some cash in the bank for your own place. They have some rooms in the building if anyone needs to stay. After pointed out a few informants, fronts, and business partners; the two of you arrive at the Emporium. Holly nods to the shopkeeper, and he takes the two you in the back. He has several brand-new still-in-the-box weapons; not even used, like the ones you had to use back home. • Colt CM09 “Bravo” (.17 HMR) $250 • Colt CM09 “Twenty Nine” (.29 ACP) $450 • Walther P99 (9mm Para) $675 • Beretta M9 (9mm Para) $580 • Glock 18C (9mm Para) $650 • Colt Python (.357 Magnum) $850 • Colt “9-45” (.45 ACP) $825 • Desert Eagle XIX (.50 AE) $1470 • Colt M1911A1 (.45 ACP) $700 Magazines and Ammo are sold separately (Ammo is per 100rds). Magazines over 10rds cost double, due to Assault Weapons Ban in California. There are more kinds of ammo, feel free to customize! • .17 HMR- $35 • .29 ACP- $46 • 9mm Para, Fragmenting- $125 • 9mm Para, FMJ +P Ball- $42 • 9mm Para, JHP- $90 • .357 Magnum- $67 • .45 ACP- $50 • .50 AE- $175 ------------- (Jonathan, if you do the Glock ($650 for the gun), It's the 9mm Para JHP, $90 per 100rds for the ammo. 3 magazines would be a total of $48)

Holly-
He continues to look at the different weapons, feeling some out. You step outside, as you feel your cell phone is ringing. It’s the boss. Assuming you answer-
Jack Steele: Dearest Holly, I have a something I need taken care of. This means a lot to me, so consider this a step up from your normal work. Once our new friend gets his gear, I need you to head over to the Holiday Motel on 17th Street. It should be fairly close to you. I don’t know if you remember; but two weeks ago, we invested $75,000 to a few guys to help start an R&D business so we can upgrade the tech we use. I had a bad feeling about these guys, and I should have gone with my gut. I put a tail on them, and apparently four of these two guys’ friends moved out of their apartments, sold all the furniture. The tail followed some to that Motel. Earlier this morning, one was seen filling up 5 gallon gas cans for their van before heading back. I’m almost certain they’re going to skip town today. I want you to make sure if they are or not. If they are, get my money, take everything you can from them- including their lives, and the van. I want a maximum return on my lost investment. Take the van to Yamoto’s shop, and come back to the office with the rest.

(Aside)- So at this point, Jonathan buys firearm(s) of choice (Make sure to buy the ammo too. Magazines don't come with ammo). And the two of you can chat on the way over if you want. Get to know each other kinda thing.

As we're driving, I break the ice by asking- "Hey Levi, you know what they call a quarter pounder with cheese in Europe?"

Levi Glides around the display of weaponry, picks up the Glock 18C, inspects it and points it forward.
"Piew Piew!"
"Hmmmmmmm, No."
He sets the gun back down and notices the Desert Eagle; His eyes widen and he briskly moves over to it and picks it up.
"Oh... Oh yes... Oh god yes... Yes yes yes..."
Levi throws the Deagal back onto the table runs over and picks up the glock.
"I'll take this one!"
He pays the man in cash for The Glock, 3 mags, and 200rnds of the 9mm Para JHP's: $878
Levi, while loading rounds into his magazines during the drive, replies to Holly:
"They don't don't call it a Quarter pounder with cheese?

"No no, they don't know what the fuck a quarter pound is. They got the metric system over there. They call it a 'Royale with cheese'. Crazy shit, huh?"
I proceed to inform Mr. Levi of what's up with the dudes at the Motel, and since I'm driving, I ask "Levi, could you get my magazines out of the glovebox and load the three pistols in there?"

"So there could be up to six guys in there? We should have shotguns for this kind of deal."
Levi Finishes loading his Mags, loads one into his gun and then Sticks his gun under his belt; Then he opens up the Glove box and starts loading the Mags and Pistols at Holly's Request.
"So... What exactly makes a girl like you go Gangsta?"

"We should definitely have shotguns." and then- "Well, I grew up with these guys. I hung out around the wrong part of town, and y'know, to put it plainly- my dad cared more about his goddamned business than me. Not only that, but I can use all three of those at once," She says as she points to the pistols.

"Heh... So you had one of those dads too then, huh? I think I might know where you are coming from then..."
"Three guns at once huh? You know, I was wondering about why you had three. I mean, I can understand why you might have more than one, but why three? The odd number just seems weird. What, do you juggle them or something?"

"Something like that" Holly gives Levi a lopsided smile, and continues, "We're almost there. Levi, meet me, myself, and I." (Creates two copies, on in each backseat)

Levi looks over at the back seat Hollies, then back at Front seat Holly; A Smirk slowly grows on his face...
"Awesome..."
"Well that's cool, I thought I was the only one! I'd show you an interesting trick of mine, but I kind of just recently got the hang of not smashing into walls when using it while moving. Don't really want to Embarrass myself with you just yet."

"Oh, don't worry, I already know what you're thinking. And no."
"You'll have to show me sometime then, I'm quite intrigued. Ah, here we are!" as we pull up. And look around.

Some pictures for you guys. You know the rooms they're in. They went for three adjoined rooms (double bed). The van is infront of the rooms (even though it's not pictured). It's a quiet day right now, minus the traffic on the street, not too many people around. I assume you're still in your car until you say otherwise. Balls in your court, tell me what you do.

I'll park the car in that alley behind the place while we survey the building, unbuckle the seatbelt, and each of me & clones holster their respective pistols.
I turn to Levi, "So, you have any thoughts? I'm kinda thinking we hit them in the motel. If we waited until they started driving, it could get messy, and they might get away. They're obviously going to bail- selling their furniture, moving out, filling gasoline tanks? c'mon. And what kind of adventure would this be if they weren't?"
